Fire alarm & voice evacuation
Concourse and gates: detection loops and EN 54 voice evacuation.
A systems package within the terminal programme: fire alarm, disabled refuge, voice evacuation and surveillance. Delivered reference.
Terminal 5 at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh is an aviation environment where life safety, accessibility and security systems have to work as one across concourse, gates, piers and apron. ESC's role was a systems package within the wider terminal programme: the scope described here is ESC's package only, not the whole terminal.
The reference is documented through a video surveillance prequalification submittal made in September 2014 to Saudconsult, the consultant acting for the General Authority of Civil Aviation through the TAV-ACC joint venture, with Honeywell and Avigilon as the platforms proposed with ESC. The register lists the project as a delivered reference.
