Fire & Life Safety · Honeywell Gold Partner 2026 — Catalyst META Fire Program

Fire and life safety systems for critical environments

Honeywell detection, VESDA, clean-agent suppression integration and EN 54 voice evacuation — designed to NFPA 72 and Civil Defence requirements, then documented for the consultant and the authority.

The layer every other system defers to

Detection, suppression and evacuation as one engineered package

Fire and life safety is the discipline ESC builds the rest of a facility around. Detection loops, aspirating detection, suppression release, voice evacuation and disabled refuge are designed together, wired to one cause-and-effect matrix, and tested as a single system before the authority witnesses it.

ESC delivers this scope as an authorized Honeywell partner in the Kingdom — Gold Partner 2026 under the Catalyst META Fire Program — with the consultant documentation and Civil Defence approval packages that a regulated project needs. The scope described here is the systems package ESC delivers, coordinated with the mechanical, electrical and architectural disciplines on site.

The fire and life safety portfolio

Honeywell platforms at the core, with the specialist systems a life-safety design calls for.

01

Honeywell fire alarm — Notifier, Gent and E3 panels

Honeywell fire-alarm families within ESC's scope: Notifier (NFPA-based projects), Honeywell Gent (EN 54-based specifications) and E3 panels — selected per the consultant specification and the authority having jurisdiction, never by ESC preference. Addressable fire alarm control panels, intelligent detection loops, multi-sensor and heat detectors, manual call points, sounders and monitoring and control modules. Networked panels for large sites and repeater panels for security and control rooms.

02

VESDA aspirating smoke detection

Very early warning for data halls, server rooms, electrical rooms and high-value or high-ceiling spaces where point detection responds too late. Pipe network design, sensitivity setting and integration to the main fire alarm panel.

03

Clean-agent suppression integration

Releasing panels, detection cross-zoning, abort and manual release stations and the agent-release interface for FM-200 and Novec 1230 protected rooms. Coordinated with the suppression contractor and monitored by the main panel.

04

EN 54 voice evacuation

Voice alarm and public address to EN 54, with zoned messaging, phased evacuation, emergency microphones and monitored loudspeaker lines. Programmed from the cause-and-effect matrix so the message follows the event.

05

Disabled refuge and emergency voice communication

Refuge points on every level with two-way call to the fire control room, firefighter telephones and graphical annunciation — the systems that make an evacuation plan workable for everyone in the building.

06

Cause-and-effect and building interfaces

Fan and damper control, AHU shutdown, door holder release, lift recall, access-control release and BMS event reporting — every interface listed in the matrix, wired through monitored modules and proven at commissioning.

Questions consultants ask

Fire and life safety — frequently asked

Which Honeywell fire platforms does ESC deliver?
Honeywell fire alarm systems including Notifier, Honeywell Gent and E3 panels, with VESDA aspirating detection and the interfaces to clean-agent suppression and EN 54 voice evacuation. Selection follows the consultant specification and the facility risk profile.
Does ESC handle the Civil Defence approval?
ESC prepares the design and test documentation the Civil Defence and other authorities require, attends the witness tests and closes the comments. The approval itself is issued by the authority on the basis of that package.
Can the fire system drive the BMS and HVAC?
Yes. The cause-and-effect matrix defines every interface — fan and damper control, AHU shutdown, lift recall, door release and BMS reporting — and ESC delivers both the fire and the BMS side when the project allows one integrator to own them.
What does ESC provide after handover?
Maintenance, spares and technical support in the Kingdom, plus operator training and programming backups so the facility team and the maintenance provider can operate the system with confidence.
