IPTV headend — WISI
Satellite and terrestrial reception, transcoding and streaming on the WISI platform, delivering live channels, property channels and video on demand over the IP network to every room and public area.
IPTV and hospitality TV on the WISI platform with WISIon middleware and PMS integration, MATV distribution for accommodation and healthcare, and digital signage for destinations — carried on the same network ESC designs for everything else.
In a hotel, a hospital or a destination the television system is part of the guest experience and part of the operation: it greets the guest by name, carries the property's own channels and messages, and has to keep working through every room turnover. ESC delivers IPTV and hospitality television on the WISI platform with WISIon middleware, integrated with the property management system, alongside MATV distribution where a conventional RF network is the right answer and digital signage where the building needs to speak to the public.
This is one of the eight disciplines ESC delivers, and it sits on the same structured cabling and multicast-ready network ESC designs for security, BMS and communications. ESC's IPTV experience is recorded as 30 IPTV references per ESC IPTV register — documents pending; the references named below are those confirmed in the company's selected project register.
Headend to room, with the integrations that make the system operational for the property.
Satellite and terrestrial reception, transcoding and streaming on the WISI platform, delivering live channels, property channels and video on demand over the IP network to every room and public area.
Interactive guest interface with welcome pages, channel line-ups, property information, messaging and services, managed centrally by the property's team.
Integration with the property management system for guest name greeting, check-in and check-out state, folio view and room-status messages, so the television reflects the operation in real time.
Master antenna television networks for staff accommodation, healthcare wards and facilities where RF distribution is specified — headends, amplifiers, splitters and outlets designed and tested for signal quality.
Signage players, displays and content management for wayfinding, information and advertising in destinations, lobbies and public buildings, scheduled and updated from one console.
Multicast-ready switching, VLAN separation and QoS for television traffic, delivered with ESC's ICT package so the IPTV service does not compete with security and building systems.
IPTV documentation covers the headend, the network and the room, so the operator's IT and the hotel's guest-services team both have what they need.
Headend sizing, channel plan, network design, room-device selection and PMS integration scope to the consultant and operator specification.
WISI headend and WISIon middleware, room devices, signage players and displays as specified.
