Television and signage that behave like part of the building

IPTV and hospitality TV on the WISI platform with WISIon middleware and PMS integration, MATV distribution for accommodation and healthcare, and digital signage for destinations — carried on the same network ESC designs for everything else.

ELV / IPTV / Communications

IPTV, hospitality TV, MATV and signage as one communications package

In a hotel, a hospital or a destination the television system is part of the guest experience and part of the operation: it greets the guest by name, carries the property's own channels and messages, and has to keep working through every room turnover. ESC delivers IPTV and hospitality television on the WISI platform with WISIon middleware, integrated with the property management system, alongside MATV distribution where a conventional RF network is the right answer and digital signage where the building needs to speak to the public.

This is one of the eight disciplines ESC delivers, and it sits on the same structured cabling and multicast-ready network ESC designs for security, BMS and communications. ESC's IPTV experience is recorded as 30 IPTV references per ESC IPTV register — documents pending; the references named below are those confirmed in the company's selected project register.

Which IPTV platform does ESC deliver?

Does the system integrate with the hotel's PMS?
Yes. The integration scope — guest greeting, check-in and check-out state, folio view and messaging — is agreed with the PMS vendor and the property's IT team and tested before handover.
IPTV or MATV — which one should be specified?
IPTV suits properties that want interactive services and central content management over the IP network; MATV suits staff accommodation, wards and facilities where a conventional RF distribution is specified. ESC delivers both and advises on the choice during design.
